3. Metro Access 

Travellers can ride the dedicated Silver Line Express bus between the airport and the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station just minutes away, and connect to the Washington, DC Metro system of rail and bus service. A new Metro station at Dulles International Airport is scheduled to open in 2022, enabling single-seat ride from downtown Washington, DC to Dulles. Dulles offers a wide variety of ground transportation options, too. 

4. Popular Restaurants, Shops & Airport Lounges

Looking for restaurants and shopping? Dulles International recently redeveloped its entire concessions offerings, so arrive early and enjoy its many culinary temptations. Choose between sit-down eateries like The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck and local favourites such as Chef Geoff’s and Chef Michael Symon’s Bar Symon. Or enjoy quick, takeaway meals in between perusing local and national retail shops like Tumi, Burberry, Michael Kors and Coach, in addition to many others. There are also seven duty-free stores, plus local and regional retailers offering a variety of merchandise, from souvenirs to fashions and everything in between. Some stores offer shipping options, so don’t forget to ask!
