Chesapeake Bay & Beyond

With its seemingly endless supply of waterways, Maryland is the perfect destination for all sorts of aquatic adventures.

Go speed boating, jet-skiing, waterskiing or windsurfing on the Chesapeake Bay or one of the state’s scenic lakes. Enjoy a canoe or kayak eco-tour along secluded coastal inlets, staying on the lookout for local wildlife such as otter, deer and turtles.

Another nice thing about the Chesapeake Bay area is that it's also excellent for bird watching and serves as a breeding ground for the rare bald eagle, America’s national bird.

Maryland Theme Parks & Attractions

For land-based thrills, visit Six Flags America, featuring more than 100 rides, shows and attractions. The new Galactic Attack combines a roller coaster with virtual reality for a first-of-its-kind experience, and Hurricane Harbor water park is included with admission.

In Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the National Aquarium and Maryland Science Center offer endless wonders for kids and adults alike. Charm City is also home to Port Discovery, an interactive children’s museum that shows how fascinating the world around us is.
