This National Memorial Day celebration honours America’s war heroes and those presently serving with a gathering along Constitution Avenue for the annual Memorial Day parade featuring marching bands, patriotic floats and veteran units from all 50 states. A free concert on the West Lawn of the Capitol by the National Symphony Orchestra and other famous performers also honours the men and women in uniform.
