Annapolis, America’s Sailing Capital

Located on the Chesapeake Bay, historic Annapolis, Maryland is home to the US Naval Academy and briefly served as the US capital before Washington, DC. On this tour you'll visit a local deli where everyone pledges allegiance to the US flag each morning, walk the historic streets with Squire Fred in 18th century character, tour the Naval Academy, eat and drink in waterside restaurants, sail a schooner on the Severn River, and learn to tour the city by Segway. The two tours run to around one hour total.

This tour of Virginia takes in the beautiful Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Shenandoah National Park, world-class vineyards at Barboursville and in Rappahannock County, Civil War battlefields around Fredericksburg, and the marvelous homes of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison at Monticello and Montpelier. We also visit two fine country B&Bs and a whisky distillery. The two tours run to just under an hour.
