Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival is the second largest Renaissance Festival in the country with more than 1,300 participants and 280,000 guests per season. The festival's 25 acre English village offers 140 craft and specialty shops, 42 food and beverage emporiums, games, attractions, displays, 11 stages of ever changing entertainment with shows repeated throughout the day, and a 3,000 seat jousting arena. The festival is open Saturdays and Sundays, late August through October.

National Hard Crab Derby

Labor Day Capitol Concert

The National Symphony Orchestra performs a free Labor Day Concert on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol each year, the Sunday before Labor Day. Colonial Market & Fair

Antietam Memorial Illumination
