Nestled in the heart of Chesapeake Bay country, the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail offers a captivating trip though a land once networked by colonial cowpaths. The Monticello Wine Trail is an association of 22 wineries and vineyards near Charlottesville that celebrates the birthplace of American wine. This trail is organized into five smaller trails: Northern, Western, Eastern, Southern and Northern Gateway. Pick a trail and spend the day! -
